EZERCIZZI B’DIFFERENZA 2011

(1) Youths, Young Married, Couples From 4 to 9 April 2011
(2) for Married and Adult 11 – 16 April 2011 (during Our Lady of Sorrows week)
Time: 7 to 9 pm
WHY?
- For those who are able to face the difficult questions of a difficult life and can face the reality that there are some questions we do not have an answer for.
- A university student told me that better not to put these questions to modern youth about God’s existence and questioning the role of people of the Church who sometimes are counter-testimonies to the Gospel. Yet, we risk taking the challenge.
- We affirm that God is Omnipotent and He is Love – then, where was He during the recent Tsunami in Japan, the threat of nuclear meltdown, and the suffering of innocent people in Libya and elsewhere?
- God does not know the future that does not exist?
- Why does not God do miracles to intervene and stop the exploitation of man against man, woman against woman?
- EZERCIZZI B’DIFFERENZA would help you so that your faith becomes an EXPERIENCE and not just an intellectual consent. Faith is a conscious effort to discover the ways God works in your life and the life around you
- EZERCIZZI B’DIFFERENZA are dangerous. They demand an open mind, an intelligence that encourages questions and doubts, to be able to face the questions of why do I believe in God, Jesus Christ and his Church?
- When you face these questions will you discover if your faith gives meaning to your life?
- Faith gives you a reason to live and a reason to die.
You and your friends are invited to ask these questions. To help you face them we formed a team who will give their contribution: Joe Gerada, Catherine Vassallo, The Radio Team, Dr Michael Galea, (psychologist), Mariella Swaine (Psychotherapist), Fr Ray Francalanza, Fr Eric Overend, Helen Andrews (Vocalist\guitarist) and X-Tend
