Over 80.000 burned matches have gone into building this work of art that shows us the Passion of the Christ which is being displayed at the Circolo Santa Caterina Club ZejtunMalta. This laborious project consists of 18 pictures showing among other episodes the Via Crucis, Our Lady of Sorrows. the Ecce Homo, the Last Supper and the Risen Lord. Together with this work this year I completed 9 plates 30x30cm each, which are made with about 2000 matches each plate and showing portraits of Jesus Christ and another new work is the crucifix that I used about 3500 burned matches.
